“I possess strong project management skills which I have developed in the course of a number of different jobs. At HP we had to replace ALL the existing support systems for the management team This was a very testing time . As part of the team I had to take over the project when the Project manager fell ill I immediately volunteered to organise and facilitate team meetings, which were occurring once or even twice a day, and I was the designated point of contact for two of our interstate organisations as well as for the HP Dallas. This meant coordinating a huge amount of information and channelling requests to the relevant people quickly and efficiently. Five days into the project effort I was required to assist with the rebuilding efforts . This chiefly involved organising staff into teams and assigning tasks to them where they would be most useful. Strict budgets had to be observed and the work done, had to meet numerous safety and quality standards. To deal with these requirements I used my excellent time management skills to organise and prioritise the tasks which needed to be done, and I created workflow breakdowns with expected outcomes in relation to time, cost and quality. Finally the Project manager returned and I went back to BA work I guess I could hold myself out as a proven leader who has a track record of achieving results when managing teams in a project management environment.
