What are the three most important skills of a business analyst? I believe the most important skills of a business analyst include technical aptitude, communication and strong attention to detail. During my career as a business analyst, I've been able to develop and advance my knowledge of the technical applications of my role in a management team, including learning new software and applications that help me organise my workflow. Communication is also necessary for ensuring projects succeed and for building relationships with stakeholders and team members. I often rely on feedback from both to help me implement the best strategies to achieve successful outcomes, and attention to detail is essential in my process of gathering project requirements and implementing solutions that support business goals.’
